WHAT IS PAINTBALL?

Paintball is a high energy, adrenaline pumping sport where players attempt to eliminate each other by firing small, non-toxic, washable gelatin paintballs from air powered markers. Each team's goal is to eliminate the other team and capture the flag without getting hit by the paintballs. When a paintball breaks on your opponent, he or she is eliminated. The game is won by successfully returning the opponent's flag to your team's base.

IS IT SAFE?

Paintball has been classified as one of the safest extreme sports out there, but that’s only when the rules are followed. We here at Hollywood Sports Park require guests to follow several simple rules to ensure their safety and the safety of others. All players are required to chrono their markers to 275 fps, use a barrel socks or plug, and watch a safety video before playing.

WHO CAN PLAY?

Just about anyone can play. You don’t have to be a “Rambo” type to have fun. Players come from all walks of life: lawyers, actors, doctors, truck drivers, waitresses, ect. Paintball is not just a man’s sport either. Women can, and do, play equally well. You must be 10 years of age or older to play. If you enjoy lots of action and making new friends, come to Giant Paintball for a FANTASTIC DAY OF ADVENTURE. Beginners are always welcome.
